We have a single dad family in Westchester that is looking for a Family Assistant that enjoys cooking (simple meals). The dad is on a 2-2-3 custody schedule, so one week the nanny will work 3 days and the other week, 4 days. Hours will either be 12-8 or 2-8pm.  The 12-8 shifts will be on days where you go grocery shopping. The other shifts are 2-8pm. We are helping a super busy and active family in Montecito find a live-in weekend nanny for their 4 children. They have 3 older boys (10, 12, 14) and a 2 year old. The nanny will be tag teaming with the parents, so the nanny might be with the older boys doing something fun outdoors and then the next day spend the majority of the day with just the 2 year old. They are open to offering part-time or full-time, depending on what the nanny wants. If it’s part-time, the job can be a Saturday late afternoon job until Sunday night. If the nanny wants full-time, the nanny can work Thursday-Sunday or even a Friday-Monday. The family offers a guest cottage for the nanny to sleep in. It’s serene and beautiful, and the views are beautiful from the guest cottage. It has a kitchenette as well. Since the boys are active, they would love a strong swimmer who loves the outdoors. The family also has two friendly dogs and a cat, so an animal lover is a must. Pay is $30-40/hour, plus a flat $150 for sleep hours.

Job duties include picking him up from school, taking him to afternoon sports a few days a week, handling his laundry, and sometimes helping with bath time and dinner. The current nanny reads with him, makes fun craft projects, takes walks and plays outside and they bake together.

Hours and pay: Mon- Tues- Thurs- Fri 11-7:30pm (34 hours) but if the nanny wants 40 hours, they are happy to offer an extra hour per day and a date night during the week (they like to spend weekends as a family). We are helping one of our absolute favorite families find a full-time nanny for their super funny 2 year old and their new baby (December due date). They have employed one of our nannies since the baby was born, but she needed to leave due to a family issue. Otherwise, she would have stayed forever. From now until January/February, the job will be from 12-7. Starting in January/February, the hours will increase to 50 hours a week. Their ideal schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am-6:30pm. Their little girl (2.5 years old) is in preschool from 9am-1pm Monday-Friday. Her school is up the street from the house, so the nanny will be driving about a mile a day. She’s a super verbal little girl with a joyful personality. She loves to eat all sorts of food, read books, play outside, and is a pleasure to be around. Their ideal nanny is super warm and loving, is great with newborns and toddlers, and wants to really grow with the family. Compensation will be around $1,200 now (for 35 hours) and then in about 3 months it will jump to 50 hours a week and the pay will be $2K a week ($36/hr + $54/hr overtime hours)

The two older children are best friends and love to do stuff together: whether that’s drawing, playing board games, hunting for bugs, or riding their scooters. The family is looking for a caring, attentive, engaging and trustworthy nanny. The older children are currently in school until 1:30/2:30, so the parents will help with pickup as needed or the nanny might do pickup while they stay home with their 2 year old. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:30-5pm and Fridays from 8:30-2:30.
